Have you guys noticed how similar Magix MIDI Studio 6 is to Logic 5.5 Platinum? Did they copy their interface?

Does anyone know how to make that type of bassline from As the Rush Comes??? I just got Logic Pro 7 about 2 weeks ago and still having trouble being satisfied with the basslines Im looking for. Any suggestions would be great.

ES1 and ES2 are very great synths imo. They don't use much cpu and sounds better than most vsti's.

seems magix and emagic are/were joined at the hip ... logic bought the audio engine code from magix way back and handed some of the interface code to magix later on when logic pc was dropped .. or something like that
