Don't ever buy Belt-Drives, save your money and buy Direct Drives. I bought shitty Gemini's when I started, go with Stanton or Numark direct drives, if you have the money, I guess go with Technics 1200's, but there is no need when you first start out.

Maybe someone can help me out here, because all these different models are confusing? In my city there are two Numark tt1 turntables for sale. Included is a Numark dm1001x mixer for $750 (Canadian funds). Sounds like a good deal? What's the differnce between all these models anyways?

definitely points out the pros/cons. imo the only bad part about getting techs is dropping that much money down all at once. once you get past that, youll be broke and wanting to get vinyl. thats never a pretty sight, there is no cure for vinyl addiction

my advice , and it is pretty good too i think, is not to bother with $200 for this. you need way more. there's no way in hell you're gonna find all this for $200 and it will be decent enough to work.

get technics 1200s at the very least.
