I don't know exactly what all it is.. but my roommate and I bought a wicked ass surround sound system for the DVD players!! And damn it's so cool.. also nice to play some tunes on..

since uve got it for 8 months now, ill have to go for the SAV (or smth like that) 300.... the sub is too powerful for the other speakers, which cant take a lot of hard music, right??

jeezlouise.. how much are all of these systems?.. my little stereo in my bedroom is a Kenwood HiFi which is a huge 20watts or raw power..heheh... are we looking in the high thousands (im thinking in Aus$) for these setups?

I have a kick ass home audio system in my room for surround sound, The receiver I have is a Sony STR-DE845, It has built in Dolby Digital and DTS decoding, Plus I have two front floor standing speakers, A 120watt powered subwoofer, Center Channel speaker, And the left and right rear channel speakers, Plus I got me a Sony Wega Trinitron 27" Flat screen TV, For all my DVD movies, I use a Sony DVD Player, But to listen to my MP3 CDs or watch Video CDs, I use the Apex DVD player, Oh and did I mention I got the Philips Tivo?

eh...my housemate has a great system in canberra...but it's only 2 speakers atm...& my dad has a very nice system at home...so, no need for me to get one yet
