there is a confuse about melodic/psy (most people think that uplifting=psychedelic), but not between house/trance.

I think it's getting tougher and tougher to classify genres.This is because both house and trance are borrowing elements from each other more and more.This is especially true for prog where the line between prog house and prog trance is reeeeally blurred.

But that said most errors in classifying genres happens due to ignorance of the concerned party.As said above,when I tell people I listen to trance they think I'm a pot head who listens to noisy goa.

There is no way you could introduce Tiesto as a House jock.IMO the MC needs to start doin some backgroung research before talkin if he dosen't want to make a complete jackass off himself.
