Too bad it's locked up in my RSP, otherwise we'd have some new toys...

I told my mom to buy one of those smart cars. That way, when she does something dumb driving, people can just run her over.

Best way to learn I'd say.

I just paid 81.9 at the Sunoco (93.9 for the 94 octane that I put into my car).

Actually cheaper than most of last week.

I don't know all the inns and outs, but I do know that anywhere west of Quebec uses western canadian oil to produce its gasoline. I'm not sure if the oilrigs on the east coast are enough to supply the rest of the country, but I know, us as Canadians, buy very little of OPEC's oil. Since we are using our own oil, it doesn't seem to make sense that we should pay the world market rate for it. Then again, like I said, I don't know all the inns and outs, just food for thought.

Canada exports about 2/3 of it's oil and gas.

Why? It's simply cheaper to buy it elsewhere. Extraction costs in Canada are fairly high (compared to Venezuela or the mid-East) - but thanks to the global economy we can cost average our cost of consumption by exporting the expensive oil and replacing it with cheap imported oil.

Nice link, Swamper! I feel all edu-mucated! Looks like my overnights aren't causing too much brain damage-amage-amage!

I paid 84 myself Monday morning, which is so much lower than what it's been out here! I hear Montreal has been paying over $1 per litre while we've been bitching about 90 + cents!

I buy my gas in Scarb .... between 11pm - 4am @ Shepard & Warden. Depending on their mood, they will drop their price's lower then any stn on the east side. Told my friends about it and they didn't belive me at until I showed them. Something about that Sunco & Shell location, maybe the 2 owners really hate each other or some shit, to compete who has the lowest gas rates.

Filled up lastnight at 11:30pm @ 76.5

Check your hood for the cheapest gas rate and time. I've even booked marked this on my phone, incase I'm running low on gas and need to fill up.

I just paid 92.9 for 87 octane here in Cambridge.

That's the lowest I saw. They're all in the 92-93 cent range.

I feel sorry for my neighbour with his '04 Cobra who runs Sunoco 94 + toulene mixture.
