a similar thing happened with 'The space Brothers // Everywhere i go'....Push made a remix and then Paul van Dyk did a re-edit of that remix with a bigger build-up i seem to remember...

Yeah go with the Vs option or call it a re-edit. Since it is not an entirely new take on the original i think cosmic gate should still be credited.
