posts in the chillout DO count. If you are not seeing the number go up as you are posting, you need to delete your temporary internet files or try "refreshing" your browser.

Wasn't there a whole sticky thread a coupla months back that stated that posts in the chill out room were not going to count b/c too many people were posting "hahahaha" or something like that in order to boost their post count. I dunno...I just remember there being this big thing about it b/c a bunch of kids who only really posted in the chill out room were mad that their posts wouldn't count at all. I dunno maybe it was changed to count again....but last time I remember hearing about this...it didn't count.

nope, posts in the chillout room don't count for a very good reason. there were so many lame and useless threads/posts in here (and in the music discussion too mind you) a little while ago that were strictly to raise post counts. so swampz removed it.

Shite. That means I'll never move up. WEll not for a very very very long time. heh. Especially after some posts of mine have been deleted.. taking me back down to tranceaddict. hehe. Ah well.. 'status isn't everything, you know'.

I suppose its a way of filtering from people who haven't used it in ages.

i'm pretty sure the only way for you to go down is if a mod edits your post count. which i think has been done to people who were making useless posts just to increase their post count.
