Think he doesn't manage his facebook account. Some user posted just some news about artists from some label group, that's all. Seems like Kai Tracid is back to his facebook account, Frank Ellrich (A*S*Y*S) always on his own and respond to any message remember also from old time of myspace. I can understand when such big names as Paul van Dyk, David Guetta or Armin van Buuren can't spend days to answer all thousands of messanger with some homemade tracks, some wishes, some haters e.t.c. Tiesto, i think not only he, even do not make tracks selection for his radioshow. He just make jingles and that's all. All that radioshow is to show to listeners some new tracks from own labels, own productions or just because you have to fill up those damn 2 hours!!!!! Even if you repeat almost all tracks from previous radioshow, you still have to do it, because all other DJs run radioshow!!!!! So to be wanted, you have to make tracks for rotations, you have to run radioshow to be as others, you have to open all social media network accounts to be in touch with as many people, as possible, you have to make some mashups, unreleased reworks e.t.c. to play on your gigs to have exclusives. Also you want to sleep and have some private life. That's why you have to let do all that work which isn't important to other people. So i can understand those people and seems like many of all those unreleased track will stay as a mystery for everyone forever. I don;t have any hope, that some label with buy all those unreleased tracks from all top DJs to release it in times, when all tracks go straight to digital shit.
I had an idea to run physical label to release all previously unreleased physically tracks on vinyls.Label do not loose anything. They get their money on digital releases, if someone buys it. But they do not want to release it on vinyl, so i can pay something to make limited run for that track on vinyls. I understand that for big label release of some track on 400 vinyls and get a few hundreds euros for that change nothing. But if you release 5 tracks (EPs) it's 1000euros for nothing, they didn;t want to do it as they thought it will fail. Do not make usual retail as it was early, when distributor took half price for taking all vinyls from the factory and send to every online and physical shop. Better take all vinyls by myself and sell on discogs and ebay/amazon.
If you say nobody care about vinyls now, you're very wrong, Look how many new vinyls have repress nowadays. Almost for every Hollywood blockbuster movie O.S.T. on vinyl + old movies like Predator, Commando e.t.c. We see new vinyl factories were opened and Sony opened one, after closing last one 20 years ago. The market shows there is a place for vinyls. I do not buy digital releases at all never ever no music, no movies, no games, only on vinyls, CDs, Blu-Rays! If new videogames console will run games only in digital, i won't play them at all.
So i keep that idea till i get enough money to speak in direct with label managers to buy at once 10-20 releases only for the beginning and start experimenting with it without any credit or other fear to loose last money.
