that's not true at all. if the mix is all muddy for example, a track will sound shit in a club.
why do you think tracks are mastered before they are pressed on vinyl?

also, when you've been working hours and hours on a track, there's always going to be flaws you don't notice yourself (like a lead that is too sharp for example).

I second that, plus imagine this, a lot of LOW Freqs below 60 Hertz Boosted at the club with the Huge Monster Truck size speakers, will generate an earth quake .

i don't know about that. all that constructive criticism is what a producer needs to fine tune their tracks to perfection. it may not make any difference to the average listener, but for their own peace of mind, i think it's important to know what another like minded individual thinks about your tune.
