You'll have to split the files up though, cause its only 1gb per file, but if youve have crappy upload speed forget it...

hang on, why not remove Hard drive from old pc, insert into new pc, copy files over, take old harddrive out of new pc, insert into old pc = job completed in a orderly and easy fashion

Except for the fact he didn't want to restart his PC.
if your gonna ftp it id break it up into rar files just in case your connection resets. crack em into 50 meg files.

Note: To do this you need to make sure you have a cross over cable and have enabled direct connect.

If you dont want to do it over the internet because it'll take too long, then use Winrar and break it up into 700 mb pieces and burn em to cds. Rewritable cds maybe.
