hmm well i guess Pacha is DEFINITELY going to look VERY different from Sound Factory altogether.
im just hoping that they utilize space to its potential. so its 1,200 ppl on the main floor eh? i cant seem to picture it in my head right now, i need a comparison of some sort. how is that estimate as compared to CroBAR or Spirit? cuz it always seems to be a LOT less space once u actually go to the place. Spirit is sposed to have madd sq footage but then they chopped it up into many rooms so there went the space
btw how big was the main floor in Sound Factory? as compared to Roxy/Crobar I never got to go there. it was sposed to be huge, right?
hmm i guess it may be too much to HOPE that this club is just all edm. wouldnt that be awesome? each floor catering to a different genre of edm...breaks, house, trance, etc.

compared to roxy, its about little bigger than half the size. Roxy has a capacity of 4,000.
Crobar holds 2,750.. hope that helps :]

like tae, i'm skeptical.. not only bc nyc is losing its identity with all these McClubs comin around but also bc pacha's signature is the 'glitz & glamour' fuck-in-the-back-of-a-limo-with-champagne crowd...

are u fuckin kidding me? so the main room is gona be SMALLER than those two? i already dont think crobars main floor is big enough as it esp on big dj nights. oh boy i can just see the crowding now.
and def +1 about the superclubs, i was hoping that at least one club would keep from becoming that way, but i guess those type of places can't survive here anymore...

i'm sure they can, but they problem is i don't think they were ever used efficiently during the 5 day's of the week people weren't there clubbing. you'd need a large amount of versatile space that you could use for making money at least 8 - 10 hrs a day for 5 - 6 days a week. this way you could bring in dough and spend it on bringing awesome dj's lineups all the time =)

And while one day viciously throwing down on his box Jack boldly declared "Let there be house!" And house music was born. I am the creator and this is my house and in my house there is only house music. But I am not so selfish because once you enter my house it then becomes our house and our house music and you see no one man owns house because house music is a universal language spoke and understood by all. You see, house is a feeling that no one can understand really unless you're deep into the vibe of house. House is an uncontrollable desire to jack your body and as I told you before this is our house and our house music. In every house you understand, there is a keeper and in this house the keeper is Jack.

According to the actual papers, (I believe) its 3,250. If you look to the right on the wall right before you give the bouncer your ticket, there is an official document with the capacity of Crobar.
