Listening...

I like the base line, but not too fond of the notes your hitting...Just sounds a little too basic IMO.

I agree with Enfero about the beginning...Kick could stand out more...and maybe layer the lead or use a more enticing sound...

The main meat of the song sounds great. I would just work on the drums.

hey markusk, thanks for the comment, a few questions:

do you like how the bassline goes but not that notes that the bassline is playing, or the notes I play when I introduce the "main lead", or the notes played on the lead when its in its "full cycle"?

when you say "layer the lead", what/how do you mean? Right now the lead is duplicated and 1 is playing full in right channel, the other full in left. and I got reverb on it, and below the "saw lead" I got a "plucking" synth playing the same notes, but in a lower volume...should I perhaps raise the volume on that to "expand" the lead...

..or what should I do?

thanks!

Hey...

Yes, I like the sound and rhythm of the bassline but not the notes that your hitting with the baseline because it sounds too lonely...does that make sense? like after the 4 bars of the baseline by itself, you have a melody going with the baseline, that sounds better. Keep in mind, this is only my opinion.

About layering, I guess it just needs to be louder, it just doesn't sound full, know what I mean?

Hi mate!

So, the percusion is poor, you must add more fx in the background,
Eq is bad, melo is very good, i like your melo, so where are by the way melodys?? The sound of arpegio is not clean, try to sharpen sounds in this sound eq.
This is my sugestions.

You must much else learn - me to

Greeaaatzioussssssssss

marcusk: ok, IŽll see if I can find a way to make the bassline more "in the track" and more power in the lead.

Sunclyder: Thanks for the response, IŽll try to EQ:ing the leads themself, right now there is just a basic mastering in Sound Forge, but hopefully more careful mastering before mixdown can solve it.

Thanks and take care,

bassline: i hear soms mini clickz try to change attack a bit on synth
or filter out the highest frequencies.

uppersynth(a bit less volume, a bit more reverb)
melody: sory man i dont know where you are going with this it is not realy recognisable (and thatz just wat makes people wanne buy music)

backgroundpads in the end i find nice!

some basic structuring and more mixing/eq'ing will make it sound much better imho.

bjornc: yeah that was a good idea, bass sounded much better. regarding the melody im actually pretty satisfied with it, so thats staying put

IŽll work on the structuring and will fix EQ (not done on any element yet, just simple mastering in sound forge)

thanks and take care!
