And what can I possibly do about it? Im 16 for fuck sakes. There are certain people who have really strong beliefs and belive that once you take part in Jihad, you are granted Jannat (Paradise). Now, if someone came up to you and said

"Hey! Your life sucks, the US is bombing you, you have nobody to in this world, why don't you just commit suicide for the sake of islam and go to heaven? "

"Sure! *strap*"

It would be hard to drive someone away from what they have decided to do already, expecially is it related to religion. There are a few corrupted people who are self-proclaimed islamic experts who put these ideas into people's brains.

There are quite a few hot spots where this type of thing could start. The next few years could be very telling as the lines between East and West are drawn. Yet another world war is not out of the question.

Do you have any idea what your talking about? And since when was Iraq spelt with a K?
I'm pissed about people bombing my country...but Every briton is not going to go and become terrorists for revenge...this is the same as Iraq, they're pissed but not everyone is gonna go around blowing stuff up to vent there anger.
Besides most of the people who planned the uk bombings were brits anyways.

Plaxx, it'll all sort out for both of us

Why do people forget Pakistan as one of the biggest terrorist nations?? All the extremist schools and training camps are right there. Even the recent London bombers had been to Pakistan for training. And its a U.S ally for the fight against terror. YAH!

Indeed it will

Also, most people don't see what is going on in Iraq and how people are devestated there. People die there too, but you never see CNN or BBC cover that. I was watching Big Brother 6 and the guy, Keyser, his aunt died because of diabetes, something that is easily curable, but instead she died because they could not get to the hospital in time because of the checkpoints set up by the US government. Even if Big Brother is all staged, or whatever, that does happen, maybe not because of diabetes but people die there too.

Diabetes is one of the top killer diseases and very difficult to control leave aside curing it.

"There are no training camps in Pakistan," senior Foreign Ministry official Naeem Khan told reporters in Islamabad, Zee news reported Thursday.

"We are the front-line state in the fight against terrorism. How could we allow such camps in our country?" Khan said.

Pakistan, which abandoned the Taliban regime in neighboring Afghanistan after the Sept. 11 attacks on the United States, has arrested more than 700 al-Qaida suspects.

"There is a lot to be done by Pakistan internally," he said. "And may I suggest there is a lot to be done in England also. The current strategy to deal with this is to encourage and support each other rather than speaking against each other and blaming each other and weakening the overall cause."

An uncle of Tanweer has said that the bomber was angry about the fighting in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kashmir, supporting the belief that he linked up with one of the terrorist organisations involved in Kashmir.

Well, not CURING it per se, but to atleast get medication or medical assitance for it is easy enough.

Just because people in other parts of the world have good healthcare, does not mean you take it for granted.

Hey guys, I'm in iraq right now, we are handing out millions and millions of dollars in aide and laying down our lives for the citizens of iraq, and I believe that they all deserve a chance at freedom, and a good life. that being said, it's other iraqis, and arabs that are hurting them and making lives hard, executing civillians, extorting people, and such. We will be here for the good ones though of which make no mistake there are plenty. just don't get caught up in all the media, and beleive that all muslims are bad people. later

i understand that perhaps this lady could've been stopped from recieving the medical care that was available because of some military road check...

but why should we feel obligated to help when the society they live in hates and is against what our nation stands for, which includes technological advancement etc? arab countries don't like the united states or its lifestyle, but then they expect to have the same level of medical attention? that doesn't make much sense...
