not from SA, but travel there regularly for work and love it. I'm trying to learn afrikaans, but so far have managed to get by pretty well with only dankie, lekker and kak.
Probably be back again at the end of August for 2 or so weeks in capetown. have to top up my wine collection then

I dont know, but my guess is that he didnt post much while he was home, and really started posting more over there, which would mean he might be back now.
