i dunno man. I've been out of that loop for a while, rest assured tho, when it comes out we'll all know about it.

if they remake ff7 for ps3, I'll buy a ps3 just for that game.

shit man. Can you imaging what the weapon creatures would look like in ps3?

you and me both man;
can you imagine how many of us like that there are out there?! i know at least ten people that would want to buy a ps3 just for that game. seeing as how the ps3 will most likely be at least 300 bucks, that's a shit load of money just for a game
they would make so much money... and it's been so long since it too. think about knights of the round, and like you said, the weapons...

awwww, my mouth waters...

I'm eagerly awaiting the remake of Xenogears (Xenosaga Episode 5) when they get around to it.

Indeed. I actually played it back in 99' or so, when hardly anyone knew about it...Are you sure about the remake? I've never heard such a thing, I only know that they're making like 5 episodes which are essentially prequels to the original Xenogears. Perhaps it's just a rumour, similar to the one concerning a remake of FFVII?

This was one of my first ever RPGs and it sucked me right in, every character was perfect and unique in there own little way. This game had the lot, music, gameplay and story. Is one of my favourite video games to date, hands down.

Dude, I couldn't sleep knowing that was the night before the game came out (Chrono Cross). Games like those are sacred. And I havent been able to beat any of the Weapons. Closest one was Emerald. I needed one more MIME Materia. I even got the Knights of the Round. I saw a video where someone didn't even need to cast that Summon.

yea, in the end the weapons are really easy to beat. you just need to a) have the right materia/armor combinations, b) get into a rhythm where if weapon does this, you do this, c) repeat over and over.
my roomie in college didn't believe me that i could beat them, so after not playing for 2 years, i took the game out, went to an old save game, and played emerald and ruby right in front of him. i timed myself, emerald i was able to beat in a little over 20 minutes (just barely over...almost didn't need underwater materia), and ruby in about 15 minutes.

where is that video without using the summon? i am entrigued. i was thinking of a way to do it. 4 cut, added cut, etc, but i wanna see it being done.

Square definatly made a name for themselves with RPGs. I heard that the Advent Children movie will first come out for the PSP and a few months later for DVD. Personally I ain't waiting and rushing to get one a few days in advance of release of the actual movie. As for remakes, i seriously doubt it because there were talks about this for PS2 instead FF Origins and shit came out.

This rumor has more grounds than the Origins remake, just to let you know. That technical demo really wow'd the world at E3 this year.

FF7 is still the best game EVER. Another series of games that sucked me in were Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic for Xbox. Great storyline good character progression and good character relationships.

There is no Origins remake there's a FFVII video from E3 yeah, I meant there was no remake for PS2

And no not the other way around. Originally it was meant to come out HERE on UMD and then on DVD but according to Shonen it's being released the same day in Japan and the US on DVD.

You're not getting what I'm trying to say.

According to Amazon.co.jp, the DVD will be ready come September 15th. According to Square, it will, too, launch in the US on the same day (which would be the 14th for us). No announcement regarding UMD has been made other then that it would come out AFTER the DVD release.

You didn't get what I was trying to say either. I know they are both coming out on the same day. But the last time I even inquired about this was months ago when Gamestop.com said that it was coming out on UMD. Don't get me wrong, this makes me a whole lot more happy considering the fact that I have no use for a PSP and don't have to buy it just to see the movie.

Can you pre-order it on Amazon yet?
