Put the "Music" back into "MTV", dipshits. I can't turn on MTV without seeing some bullshit teenie-bopper show anymore. I mean, really. It's no longer "MUSIC Television"; it's just "Bullshit Television That Teenies with No Brains Watch". Back in the day, (The day of Bevis and Butthead) you could turn on MTV and actually get some good music playing. Actually, fuck that. You just don't get any music full stop. Not anymore.
The television network has dominated their main MTV channel with bullshit shows for bullshit teens. For example, Punk'd. Just a pile of shite, with some big-shot presenter that's (let's face it) only popular because of That '70s Show. Well, as popular anyway. Where the hell is the music in Punk'd? It's got NOTHING TO DO WITH MUSIC. What was that? Why is it on the proclaimed "Music Television" channel? Because assholes in America like that shit; the kind of shit where you see celebrities doing anything to keep their attention for half an hour. For instance, Pimp My Ride, Presented by Xzibit. Sure, he's a legend, but when he sells out by doing crappy shows like this to ruin a Music Television channel, it disgusts me.
MTV's main audience is a bunch of idiots. You know, Pimp My Ride is quite similar to Orange County Choppers. If you're asking yourself "what is Orange County Choppers?" right now, you should go and ask yourself "why am I such an idiot?" Orange County Choppers is a show that is on the Discovery Channel. It's where they make choppers like these and it is an hour-long show. The show shows you family dispute between the staff there, and it shows you how everything is made and is actually pretty interesting, even for someone like me who doesn't like choppers especially. Well, Pimp My Ride is a show that makes shitty old cars worth about £40, be worth at least £20,000 each show. You'd think it would be the same kind of show as Orange County Choppers, wouldn't you? Well, you're wrong. Pimp My Ride is a shitty half hour show and it's only a half hour show because the idiots that always sit and watch MTV would lose concentration if it were any longer. These people have the attention span of a ferret. Combined.
The only show that I can think of, offhand, that actually shows some fucking music on MTV is TRL. That stands for "Total Request Live". The show MIGHT be an hour long, but I'm not 100% sure. Luckily songs are only about four minutes in length, that's the only thing that keeps the viewers from jumping about their living room and bouncing on the sofa. I mean, with all the distractions in the average living room (curtains, light bulbs), who wouldn't be excited all the time?
It's always good to end a piece of writing with a quote, so I'll end it with one, one from me. "Fuck you MTV, communist bastards". |
wow... Why dont you just listen to another channel... If you want good music, dont listen to television
Ps: I dont have mtv so dont bash me sayin im a MTV wh0re:P
