Hey guys, thanks for the replies, This does need work but it will be put aside for now as i start to build original stuff, for now here is the working link...
ok.. intro sounding good so far, like the percs - got good swing there. intor riff at 1:25 just came in, nice synth and back ground arp.
at this point I wouldnt know it was Barbers Adagio 4 Strings Remix,
only at 3:50 do I get to know what it is..which could be good or bad..
The Pads sound nice but need a bit more guts on bottom end - maybe drop an octave with a few cords.
The transition to main bit u dance to - when it all kicks in at 5:50ish maybe needs to build more - depends on what sort of feeling you want to have - this a more chilled.
Some good sounds in there man, good work but maybe structure needs changing in places as its a mix of a more chilled tune or could be a dancefloor pumper!
good work though.

Im really not a fan of remixes of classics - you can never improve on Ferry Corstens effort.
But i do understand people want to put their own mark on things so ill give it a review - just listening now....
I agree with Ichiro, it sounds nothing like the original until the break, ant distinguish any similarities at all.
When the break comes in IMO it just sounds like you have imported the midi file and assigned your own pads to it.
A bit dissapointed, I was expecting a 'remix' ie/ your own interpretation of Adagio for strings, wheras all it seems to be IMO is your own intro (with no similarities) and then the original chord arrangement with a few of your own sounds over the top.
Sorry if this seems harsh but like I said before im not a massive fan of this sort of thing - that said, this is obviously my own opinion and others seem to like it!
The Messiah Project.

sloooow transfer
lemme see...
kick sounds abit soft... no, getting better now.. would love it abit harder tho...
bass is cool, altho the fuzz is kinda annoying
perc is abit minimalistic imo...
i like the synth that comes in 01:30ish
nice fxs...
after 1st buildup, where is the basS? i cant hear it?
the bass thing that comes in at 2:20.. wtf? is it off or is it just me? me no likee anyhoo...
strings entering.. nice fx's again.. sounds good.. maybe fatten up the pads and stuff abit.. i like the sound of them tho...
synth entering, very thin imo...
where is the buildup? throw in a snarefill...
that c64ish perc sound you have in the back is too loud imo..
starting to get on my nerve
overall.. a pretty nice remix... do a better mixdown, fatten up the leads, and give it all a little oomph of energy.. to me, this was to boring, but it has potential, but not without some additional work..
i would give it a 6 or a 7...
ok agree with the guys about it lacking drive its either because its a bpm or 2 too slow or more likely you didnt use a sub enough bass. think you need a good sine wave sub to make it pump.
also those bass note drops coming up to the breakdown sound wrong think they're rising instead of falling or something but they dont sound right anyway, maybe sound just keep the same loop going up to the break.
the break is nice indeed
love the instruments u used in this track really fit the track well.
the build from the break is good but after it kicks back in it just seems to fizzle out til the end
probably could of done with another break were you build it up again. think tiestos remix
all in all its a very good production and a good addition to the countless remixes that have been done by trance producers of this classic. think william orbit needs to write a new track for us trance producers to remix to death

Nothing badly!
Simple introduction, very beautiful the Pad, that Vst you have used?
Nice fxs but the bassline i felt had no sub bass..
Goog work terry!
