I agree on the potential on remixing of Cosmic Baby's Impression while it is one of the more forgotten mixes of the classic but i hope people will "grow up" and start to remix something else instead and not always the same handful of tracks every year.. By and large I agree. Other past work should be explored and reinterpreted in serious ways.
But Cafe del Mar has a special place, I think, that follows the genre as it evolves.

so pvd made other remix in 98 to put kay cee mix of love stimulation down cus kay cee mix is a rip of pvd one...

Yeah, PvD got pissed at Kay Cee (aka Oliver Huntemann who also was one of the composers of Humate's original) for not making much changes to his '93 Love Mix and claiming it as sort of his own work, own vision of the track while it was just a subtly changed PvD's Love Mix and he didn't even credit PvD but only Humate (Gerret Frerichs) and Gerret's partner in crime in studio at the time, Hans-Georg Schmidt. Because of this PvD reworked his '93 Love Mix into '98 Love Club Mix with some tweaks and updates here and there and along the way also Oliver Lieb and Blank & Jones ended up to remix the track.
Dunno why what how.. but Humate remixed Kay Cee's remake and boy what a tune the 10min journey of Humate 1998 Remix is! I love it, it's my 2nd fav version after PvD's '93 Love Mix.
