I have the same problems with parents and other people cus I'm the only to like and know emusic... and listen to it the entire day...
Sometimes ago I could enter in a discussion easily... now I'm tired of this...
If somebody dont like the music I listen to, I dont care about it.
The clean answer I can give to these people is:

"I listen to what I like, respect."

So when can we bring up the fact that anytime someone talks about rap/hip-hop/r&b here that it's ok to bash it because its to be expected on a trance board?

No I wasnt being sarcastic. I dont really care about rap anyways, to me its pointles music that gives a bad message to it, thats why i dont choose to listen to it, but this thread wasnt about bashing rap anyways
