actully Sony made the Super Nintendo |
Wrong. As far as what Sony did for Nintendo, the only thing is the sound chip that's inside the SNES.

and then later on in 1993/94 both Sony and Nintendo were working together on the Playstation. |
Sony was working for a CD-Add on for the SNES. It was already deemed the 'PlayStation' by then (the add-on, that is). They thought they could extend the shelf life for longer this way.

I am not excatly sure what is would have been called. So Nintendo decide to split off the project because they weren't too ipressed. |
Nintendo did NOT decide to split off the project. Since Sony had full control of how the software would be designed and had created the actual CD add-on, they decided to market the system as their own, which pissed off Nintendo. Eventually Nintendo would go over to Phillips, Sony's rival company, to create the SNES-CD.

Only con they care more originality they don't care about graphics which is either a bad thing or a good thing. |
Actually, Perrin Kaplan, vice president of marketing and corporate affairs for Nintendo of America, made an announcement regarding the Nintendo's stance on graphics. Nowadays, the only thing left to add graphics-wise is just more shading, shadows, light, etc... How many re-releases of games do you have to go through before the other competitors will be happy with the graphics, you know? The entire graphics shtick is silly and comes to more concern for the newer generation of gamers who didn't grow up with less than 4-bit graphics (Game Boy).
