I hate how on the older PS2's the game has a tendency to freeze up and you can't go any further due to it being a dual-layer disc.

I got to the part where I had to rescue the Oracle, and then, BLAM. No more game.

I played the game though with a couple of my army pals, and i have to say this game truly rocks, on normal difficulty the game was just challenging enough (for me that is), but we had to change the dif-setting to easy with the last battle, because we were having a lot of hangups (old ps2 i guess). Tried the game a bit with the god-mode but it was too much for me. Anyways great game, great story, great challenge

it's one thing that i miss that i would have loved to have in the game... something that's in devil may cry, and that's that you can replay the game with all the powers you gained throu the game... would have been really cool

I just had the pleasure of playing this game and I must say that this is definitly the action game of the year, if not of this generation of consoles. It is an absolute masterpiece. Dreamy environments with atmospheric orchestral music are just all over this damn game. Every room you walk in, every area you enter, you will be amazed. I havent been this blown away by a games quality since FFIX, FFVII, MGS1/2/3.

Masterpiece and a must have for every ps2 owner.

P.S. I rented this game and beat it in 9h and 24min and im still going to go buy it to play it again in god mod and beat the god's challenge.

my opinion
sony's attempt and doing a better prince of persia
it was a good game i'll give it that the chain blades were cool and all
but they did not manage to outdo prince of persia and didn't even get that close to it.
