c'mon, can't believe no one has mentioned "Puff, the magic dragon". Probably the most famous song about drugs that passed tself off as something else
Just to clarify, it was a poem written in 1959, and the writer claims it was about a "loss of innocence" and nothing more. However, those that wrote the song version of the poem (Peter, Paul & Mary) did later reveal their song was about marijuana

too many tunes about these days with vocals just added for the sake of it,its quite a skill to get a vocal over a tune that works, theres alot of good old tune that do it well, cant remember any right now, chicane - offshore vocal works well, amt darey - liberation & some old space brothers tunes use vocals well, but these days productions just seem to follow some kind of default template

The Shamen - "Ebeneezer Goode"
It was number one in the UK for weeks (!) and the chorus has shouts of "E's are good, E's are good". It also had a verse which contained "Has anyone got any Vera's? Looovvvveeelllllyyyyy!" Vera's are cockney rhyming slang for E - Vera Lee.
There's countless other songs like this as well
The Strangler's - "Golden Brown" (All about Heroin)
Rolling Stones - "Brown Sugar" (Heroin again)

Theres a song by a norwegian artist called "Eating out"...
People thought it was about dining at a restaurant until the video came out started really innocent, and this girl goes under the table, and starts licking this other chick if I remember right..

Did he actually admit that though? According to the 'Beatles Anthology' (written by the Beatles), the inspiration was a wee lass who drew a picture and gave it to one of them, saying 'It's Lucy in the Sky, with diamonds!' and it was just a coincidence that the initials spelled LSD. Not saying I believe him though - the lyrics are pretty trippy...tangerine trees, marmalade skies, marshmallow pies and kaleidoscope eyes
AC/DC do class lyrics only done justice by Angus Young himself:
GIVIN THE DOG A BONE:
She take you down easy
Going down to her knees
Going down to the devil
Down down at ninety degrees
She blowing me crazy
'til my ammunition is dry
She's using her head again
She's using her head
She's using her head again
I'm justa giving the dog a bone
SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG:
She was a fast machine
She kept her motor clean
She was the best damn woman I had ever seen
She had the sightless eyes
Telling me no lies
Knockin' me out with those American thighs
Taking more than her share
Had me fighting for air
She told me to come but I was already there
'Cause the walls start shaking
The earth was quaking
My mind was aching
And we were making it and you -
Shook me all night long
Yeah you shook me all night long
