Hmm..im not asking for sympathy..i was asking if anyone felt like this..things or attitude that you didnt like or wanted,but now you are doing/acting it. I never regret about drugs, alchol, or girls..i like to experience life to the fullest.

Regarding the typing...English is my 2nd language, and im not typing an essay to turn in to my teacher, as long as you/others understands it, i think its fine..

Oh, i wasnt blaming my father for anything, he is the best. Just some tiny charcterastics i dont like but now i inherited.

Save it, English isn't my first language nor is it the first language of a lot of people that post on this forum. However you don't see most of us typing with u, ur, little stupid faces like *-* or whatever, that's what emoticons are provided for.

Clearly, you didn't bother to take the time to actually read my post. You didn't inherit his characteristics, you made the choice to have them. No one poured a bottle of alcohol down your throat, you picked it up and decided to drink it. No one forced you to cheat on your girlfriend, you chose to. You didn't inherit anything, you made all of the choices yourself.

i had an abusive step father when i was in middle school. that kind of fucked me up into being a bit anti-authority. when someone takes advantage of their authority and your the one affected, its hard to let anybody else take authority, even if they have your best interest in mind.

but im nowhere near the man this guy was. bi-polar, suicidally depressed, then happy, then back to being angry all the time. im so glad im not that.

That's amusing that you think I'm even bothered. It's a forum, you posted a thread, I posted my opinion. I never once said I was angry in the least.

a child is always a victim. an adult is not. a child cant make his own choices without parental guidance. an adult can.

ahway, u may have been a victim as a child, but as an adult, u hold the cards in your hand now. not your father. i suggest u see a therapist. they are professionally trained to deal with stuff like that.
