does anyone else besides this guy think theres a filter lfo in this lead?

i might have got the semitones wrong but it was a quick one.

i hear it there instantly. dont hear it on his website tho. maybe its too low quality for me to tell.

well dude that means you need some more practice in training your ears as well as synth programming(no flame intended). Yes it is low quality but no matter what it is definitly a major part of the sound programming and architecture.

you can hear a hq version of the lead if you click on the play link down the bottom of yojis website.

It does sound like he is using a lfo on the filter but maybe a little more subtle than limits version. Sounds like hes also using pwm too.

i dont think hes using any pulse waves in there but you could be right. you were right when you suggested a lfo on the pitch, which is also another way to get that affect

Are you teh gay or just teh n00b? Limits trying to help and you just insult him...wtf?

Your just reacting to the mastering of the sound in the mix on the site. Limits is straight out of the host, so it doesnt sound as polished as Yoji's. Definately an LFO patched to Filter though. Maaaaybe PWM, but I doubt it, as thats not an extremely noticable effect. If it was pitch, then there would be a much larger sense of detuning, which I'm not really hearing. The note is pretty solid.
