No idea... but I'd assume since they also use a jog wheel that it's the same...

Forget about iPods, theyre overrated, overpriced, and id rather be shot dead than be seen in public with that trendwhore piece of shit.

The HD5 is the same size (basically) as the HD3 however, its battery lasts 10 hours longer and is REMOVABLE.

If i were buying an HD mp3 player, itd be ONLY the HD5. oh yeah, sony mp3 players are the only ones that are capable of gapless playback (via atrac, which isnt bad).

HD5 sells for around 280 dollars on ebay, and sonicstage is constantly improving (DRM is removed, unlike iTunes, check with new releases).

ENJOY!

I know from experience that the iPod has problems with really large sets. I'm not sure what the specific numbers are, but I know that for a couple of Sasha and James Zabiela sets that I've got that are around 6 hours long, the iPod freezes up if I try to fast forward more than a couple of minutes.

muchos thank you COR.

i have the first gen iPod. . it has a really really really nice search function where you just spin the wheel to jump to a part of the song .. i find it extremely usefull for live sets . . and i wouldn't see why the new iPods wouldn't have this feature
