get the tts mate they will do a better job holding a pitch ,

eBay for 2nd hand techs. you can get great prices, and it's definitely worth it. the things are built like tanks. even if the pitch is busted to hell, as long as the motor is good, $30US for a new pitch slider and you're good to go.

Who cares if someone gets famous from being a DJ? As long as the sets are good, it doesn't matter.

If I were you id get a pair of cdjs or a dual cd deck on a budget.
You need music when starting out and vinyl will be expensive.
get the basics down and collect a few tracks on vinyl then you can look
one and possibly a second turntable .Unless of course you already have cdjs...

I bought myself some techs, did the whole thing properly as i've been into my EDM music for a good 7 years now.. (i'm nearly 22)

None of my friends liked the music we all like on here so i was on my own when i decided to have a go at mixing music together (or Dj'ing, though we all have to watch out who we call dj's these days now don't we )

Anyway i've got my techs (1210 mk3's) and an average vestax 275 mixer. And i'm having fun. Even though i've only got 20 records at the moment i'm trying to just get my beat matching down to a more respectable time (like before the song finishes lol...jk)

Anyway, i'm now looking at the SSL route, and then i'll probably just buy my favourite songs on vinyl. That means i can slowly amass a nice collection of songs i like

yeah entertainment warehouse i was looking at it though from i remember it wasnt that cheap...il take another look.

as for cdjs i know in the long run it would be cheaper but it just seems to me that having music on vinyl is just alot cooler as i already have a few anyway. cant wait for vinyl warning to open that store as well
