me bought myself a pair of aiwa hpx-222, only US$30. for as much as i hate aiwa's sound, these headies are pretty nice, very comfortable, and weigh only 240 grams! they isolate most of the outside noise and have a nice bass, although they might not be loud enough. now sometimes people look at me like i'm a freak (i am, really!), but i don't care.
