That's not the right attitude to make it happen. I mean franks birthday was on a sunday, almost everyone there went out and partied hard the night before (cherry beach, republik, guv). If somebody can pull that off on a sketchy sunday, don't you think it can be pulled off pre party?
With enough people, setup andd take down would be a breeze. the preparty would be motivation for people to get ready sooner. Why couldn't we have tunes? I'm sure there are lots of dj's on this very board that would be happy to have the opportunity to spin out.
i don't mind volunteering my time to setup and takedown. Unfortunately I won't have wheels for this party, but if somebody has a big enough ride to store all the required equipment, I'd be happy to help. If this does happen, major props can and will be given out to those that make it happen, and it would enhance the biggest party of the year. Finally we can do our TA meetup and actually hear/talk to people.
