What he does is called a "Back Glide"....the original Moonwalk is gliding, not backwards or forwards, but in a circle.

I can moonwalk, back glide, side glide and other various glides...been doing it since i was 15...and i am now 30...along with waving, popping and liquid.

its really simple too... just as you learn when to pull up yur foot etc..

alot of ppl think its pulling the foot thats up backwards, but its the lowered one that is sliding, exactly as they align put down the heel of the foot thats "up" and pull up the heel of the sliding foot, then slide the lowered foot... be sure to have really "glidey" shoes..

however the shoes dont have to be glidey....since the foot does not touch the ground anyway...lol

I can't moonwalk but for some reason I can glide like none other. (Basically moonwalking in reverse and sideways.) I have also mastered the art of the arm wave... absolute liquid. Looks sick under black lights. I can't do any of the really fancy moves, but I can hold my own on the dance floor.

And I tried to Jackhammer once and REALLY hurt myself. haha.
