Finally Johnny. Which frequency do you use in downtown?

Pro tip: Under 100.00MHz will give you the best sound quality, keep your iPod volume at approximately 75%, or the signal to noise ratio will fuck up the transmission from the iTrip.

I've also got one of those cupholder things for my car, the Belkin TuneDok. Much less invasive than that Griffin thingy.

Sorry Johnny but...
I bought one of those and it sounded like shyte even when I finally found an empty station to transmit to!!

So I bought the Kenwood i-Pod adapter that was metioned in a previous post and its AWESOME..sounds crystal clear!!!

I had the wire run into my glovebox so the Pod stays hidden there and never needs to be recharged as the adapter charges the Pod as well.

The song / album / playlist / artist titles displays in the deck and you control the folders / tracks from the deck too.

It was only $140 for the adapter which is good considering some of the FM transmitter pieces of garbage are selling for over $100

So all in all 4gigs of mobile tunes.

Well I so far used the standard 87.5 frequency...so far so good...will report when I get more use out of it It was pretty cheap actually...like 39 or 49

Those features actually sound really awesome...but i'm slightly broke now so we'll see how this iTrip performs first

I got the other smaller one, forgot its name already..they reccommended it to me at the Apple store in Yorkdale over the itrip...so far it works really well. The first day I had it, the ipod was on max volume and it wouldn't work on the radio, i was so pissed for a couple of hours until I finally decided to look at the instructions

Oh come on Mark, of course a $140 friggin line-in adapter is going to sound worlds better than a $35 FM transmitter

If I had an aftermarket head unit (not going to bother with this car), I'd have gotten one, but as my stock unit has no auxilliary line-in input, I had to go iTrip. Sounds great to me, but I'm not audiophile.

all mp3 players have fm transmitters

id rather use aux in on the deck though. f*ck ipod

So I drove in to work today using my little new toy as the device of choice for music and it was excellent!!!

The one funny thing that happened though is that everytime I drove by a bus it got a little fuzzy and when a lightning hit somewhere (thunder and lightening storms this morning) it also for a split second had a fuzz...but other than that super nice! LOVE IT!

I heard very negative feedback concerning that iTrip.
There's a more expensive one that's supposed to be top notch, however, most transmitters give you trouble at some point!
