IMO the reason why them lineups have been released so early is no real thought or effort has gone into them.
I know there is two rooms at Slinky how about be more creative with the music policies, for an example instead of having loads of Hard House rubbish in the main room maybe look at putting it in a back room, looking at other genres and styles of electronic music mixing it up a bit putting it in the main room or back rooms like techno, progressive house, & breaks etc it would attract a diverse crowd and be quite healthy for the club fiancially and publicity wise. |
agree with you about way too much hard house.
In the back room there is Cocoshebeen which is drum and bass, the longest running weekly DnB night in the country and it is busy most weeks which is why they dont have the same variety.
Slinky have experimented with house and techno but whenever they do it is dead quiet, people have no taste.
Saturdays at the Opera House (home of Slinky) is more house and breaks orientated, Stanton Warriors, Pete Tong, Hed Kandi are all there in October.
