almost all the "remixes" of the nuxx mix is a fucking joke imo, especially, those made by tranceproducers, they loved that melodic breakdown and that melody but hated hard techy part, infact, for me it's the opposite, it's the main techy part which is the good thing with the track. ever since pvd took it upon himself and do his "remix" of born slippy.nuxx trance producers have followed the same road, i mean, all paul ever did was to chop of the techy part and apply his own wimpy trancefluff beat instead of it.
the only remixes that aren't like that is Darren price's remix (it was on the 1996 release along with his remix of the original born slippy) which has a cool deep soundscape and a nice stuttery 4/4 beat and Atomic Hooligan's wicked breaks remix which was done i think by taking the track and reconstructing it. Atomic hooligan played more with the original song structure, he uses the melodic breakdown in a nifty way, since he already kick started the vocals before the breakdown he lets the vocals go on while some vocal filtering is going on in the background.
