LMAO
Yeah it was a pretty good night, fucking weird from the get go, the amount of intoxicants my body has seen in the last three days greatly hindered my ability to properly rock out to Lawler. Both of us were knackered. LOL
The place went off something like 12 times, and Lawler looked incredibly comfortable, having the crowd by the balls on many occasions.
By the second track the place was erupting. WTF No warmups in London, haha by 12:15 my head was in my hands, and Kevin was hanging from the railings. BAHAH
I need some serious help from Carlos...
-biggest choon of the night was a track with "Twisted" in the chorus
-New Order - Jet - Remix (not JLC's)
-Captain Hook - Montero (House Remix) <- has to be heard on a big stereo, I melt
- Planet Funk - Electric Itch (King Unique Remix) <- brought.house.down
-Michael Gray - the Weekend (again, who's fucking remix, no vocals, just the strings in the middle)
I think Kevin and I are a magnet for madness, some seriously fucking weird shit happened in there. An interesting side story is that I met Steve Lawler's brother, haha shot the shit with him for 5 mins. "that's my little brotha innit mate" haha
I'd say 80%+ of his tracks had the "crunch" factor (re: Angello/ Ingrosso styles) and he's defo calmed down on the diva choons.
I give the night a high 9/10, mainly bias as being back in London brought back way too many memories. Mad city.
