this post is so selfish i dont even know where to begin to reply. First of all, most the bans and closes do come from me yes, u want to know why? out of all the mods in total, less than half are on daily, the two main two are me and neo, which is why most of the stuff comes from me.
I spent an awful lot of my time when it was a joint forum finding out the opinions of the members, and doing what the members wanted. I think we can all agree the result has been worth it. Now yes, i was only meant to be a temp mod, but you all took a shine to me and i enjoy modding here. this is the only forum on TA i actually enjoy modding. This zaps more of my time than COR and MD. Core and MD i dont read anything anymore, i dont have time, i see something, i leave or mod it, and move on. Here i read every new post of every new thread, which takes alot of time. Now if my local forum mod put in as much effort as i do into this forum id be chuffed to bits. Most members on this site had an opinion on the mods, you have a mod, yea hes not from florida, but has kept up with every single thread from the start. So what im not from florida, it doesnt take alot for u lot to start bitching, so maybe having a neutral figure isnt a bad idea. Im not anyones friend, i dont hang with certain people - if i recall is was that very situation in the last mod that prompted the previous forum riot.
Aside all that, who do i give mods to? you name me one person who isnt biased, will always be fair, mature, is on all the time, doesnt lose their temper, doesnt spam, and i'll give them mods. Out of all the people the only half candidate is DarkAngel, and while hes pretty much got what it takes, he spams alot. The spamming he does isnt bad, but mods cant be closing shit threads when one of them is posting in them. This is how DA is, im fine with that, but i dont want to have to change someone with how they act on a site to get them to do something they didnt originally sign up to do.
And to be quite honest i really dont think you're in much of a position to start calling the shots around here, you are one of the people always involved in petty squabbles, mainly with Patmagroin.
One more thing, i received in total 5 requests to close that sander K thread, so why you feel im taking charge, others feel im keeping order. While you and rZo obviously feel hard done by, most others are glad to see it closed. Im also quite pissed how uve all said what a good job ive done around here, and to have one decision like this which i was acted to do put on a public stand like this - im pretty pissed about.
