People in NY already had money and got more after that disatser
People in New Orleans had none and got some after that disasater

Is it right for the hirricane situation people used their 2000 for crap when they should of used it for needs(clothe food) or did they base it off o exmaple of free money given to those from 9/11. AND WHEN I SAY FREE, I SAY IT LOSSELY BECAUSE I KNOW MANY HAVE DIED BUT HOW MUCH IS SOMEONE'S LIFE WORTH IN COST???

My opnion, If I lost a love one and got money for it(9/11) I would not be better off but with extra money in my pocket. thoughts and opinions please.

the difference is not so much that 'mother nature caused one and 'terroists' the other, but that the US government (US taxpayer) subsidized the airline industry by paying close relatives compensation if the relatives did not sue the airlines for negligence. there are some close relatives that have not taken that option and instead are suing the airlines.

Being that I work in the insurance industry I am sure it will survive. Thypically, in places like New Orleans you can purchase flood insurance.....this isn't typically offered by the insurance companies but is offered through the government.

It is easy to see how it came to be populated, not because retards decided below sea level was a great place, but because of the sea port. thats how early cities were developed.

In order to keep the water out of the area they had to build levees. I say tear down all the levees and let the water go inland and when the water stops then start the rebuild. Build your levees at that point.

wtc bombing 1993 those of the dead family members did not get money
oklahoma bombing, those people did not get money either

those people wrote letters to maryor guiliani at the time the millions were given out to those families of 9/11

Terrosit attacks should not equal money
should build memorial to remember.
How will xtra cash when you spend it make you remember a loved one?

natural disatser should get money...but no spending on crap!

I hope they don't rebuild the city....cause this is just going to happen again.
