I have a very good reason for wanting to learn Russian... I'm not going to give up. I need to know how to speak it well enough to communicate with angry Russian people. It's for my job. Haha.

I already speak fluent English (duh), Spanish, and I can hold my own in German.

I learned three years worth of Spanish in just under six months, bro. I pick up languages fast.

To be honest, Russian is no where NEAR Spanish . At your pace I would say 1 year of Russian is going to take you 1 year

That's just fine by me. There's a LOT of incentive for me to learn... a year-end bonus equal to 5% of my yearly salary, to be exact. (I'm already getting a 5% salary bonus for the Spanish. 10% salary bonus at the end of the year would be disgusting... several thousand dollars.)

Spanish requires 80% fluency. (I got a 92% last year.) Russian requires 70% fluency. German requires 70% as well, but I only got like a 58% on that test. Pissed me off, because that would've been 15% salary bonus. It caps at 15%, so I'll never be willing to learn another language after Russian. Doesn't help me at all.

Well there are some pretty nice links on masterrussian.com to get you started. I would also consider obtaining some russian program things from Rosetta stone and stuff like that.
