Why do you say that. I don't think there is another dj who has put as much time and effort into the production of a released cd.

Fair enough you don't like the music on it, but there's nothing lame about the cd - it's genious, and there's no arguing that point.

Oh well, the normal tracks I like but this is a mix with only loops.
It's also mixing but in mine opinion this is not the way you must listen to pure techno if you don't know what techno is. It's all going to fast, for me it isn't genious.

How should you listen to techno then?

i just picked up Welcome To The Technodrome Vol. 2 today and from this CD i recommend. . .

E'-Trax - Let's Rock (1991) SAMPLE (i hadn't listened to this in over 10 years! i fucken luv it. the bass line. the synths. if ur not going to play this loud then don't play it at all.)

Robotiko Rejekto - Techno-Logical (At the Height of Fighting) SAMPLE (Sample 2) (1991)(trance or techno? who cares i like it)

New Scene - Tonight (1991) SAMPLE (this reminds me of MC900 Ft Jesus - The City Sleeps, but better)

Recall IV - Aesthetic (1991) SAMPLE (i like it a lot 2)

Egma - Let The Bass Kick (1991) SAMPLE (this is in a lot of compilations, yet i only rate it a 3/5)

Metropolis - Time Of War (A. C. Mix ) (? maybe 1991) SAMPLE (i really like this one. just great)

EDIT - i just added a sample to E' - Trax and Robotiko Rejekto. yousend it is down now but i'll the other samples later in case anyone's interested

Just sets. You can listen how a technotrack is build up and how the set is build up. Not just 20 seconds from a track fast after the other.

You say that every time someone dislikes something you treasure.

"Well... um, Richie Hawtin isn't actually a God. His music is soulless and dull, and he hides behind technology so people won't call out the bland end result. Oh, and his hair is totally ghey."

"A contrary opinion! Quick, insult their intelligence to save my pride!"

Unless there's a lot of hidden meaning to the words "Not too bright, are ya?" then I'd say so.

First of all I don't know how smart this guy is, but his comments in the thread are fairly dumb. I was being facetious with the not too bright remark.

Let's see...well, the break points in the CD aren't separating single tracks. The CD isn't even built in the manner that one track comes after the other as a normal mix CD.

Is kind of a moronic statement then.

Now I don't know where you get the idea that I "treasure" something, I don't even like the music on the CD and haven't had the patience to sit through it in a very long time. You see, whether he dislikes it or not is of little matter to me. But it's stupid to then say "BUT THIS CD IS SO LAME!" because you dislike it. Yeah, music is bad because you don't like it.

Not too bright, are ya?

I wasn't referring to this context. But it seems to be your favourite line of argument when points clash, and here's it crops up again.

If you're gonna make a point, make a point. Telling someone they're stupid doesn't prove them wrong, you right or further the argument.

I know, I have it myself. You didn't read my previous posts. I allready wrote it was a loopmix. What I allready wrote was that I like of the tracks on that cd. I have a few on vinyl record. But if you don't know what techno is and you want a pure view on what techno is you have to listen to whole technotracks and sets. Not the loop stuff. Anyhow, everybody has a different opinon about everything.
