on top of my head, amazon and virgin .. i wouldn't say best buy and wal mart, because all they are trying to do is sell things to people with holes in their pockets ..

MVC, perhaps? I know it's not as widespread as HMV or Virgin but it's a similar shop that I don't think has been mentioned yet.
