Here's the pattern for House.
Diagnosis 1: Wrong
Diagnosis 2: Wrong - treatment from diagnosis 1 makes patient worse
Diagnosis 3: Wrong - patient has a seizure
Diagnosis 4: Down to 2 different diagnosises and one will kill the patient, the other will save the patient, a decision must be made in the next 5 minutes or the patient will die.
They are chained to a very restrictive story arc.
Does this limit the enjoyment for you? Or does the value of the program exist outside of its skeleton?
