well...maybe he means that he doesn't want to make "typical great trance" like Ferry. God, I love Ferry's stuff much more than Tiesto's, probably cuz his songs are getting weird as shit, but that's the way Tiesto wants to make music now. Let him.

That's very true, the great synths used in Gouryella's tunes come from Ferry (he's also used them in his own tunes and remixes). So hopefully Gouryella will come back with more gr8 tunes even though Tiesto is out.

arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
at least they still releasin sum nu gouryella tunes tho

both corsten & tiesto r gr8... i dont no y ppl keep dissin 1 or otha ;( also wen tiesto sed he dint wanna b jus anotha corsten in the interview /w mixmag he mite just of meant he wantd 2 b individual/unique and seen 2 hav his own style - not as an insult. Afta all it dus say they r friends & i dont think corsten wud appreciate a 'friend' sayin that in a bad way...

as 4 all the complaints of tiesto goin progressive etc. we shudda saw it comin, he woz movin 2wards progressive even b4 it became rly popular. I'm sure i rememba sum interview in which he sed thats wot he thought the futur of trance woz gonna b like or sumfin. Ne way i h8 his loss 2 the progressive scene but thats fair enuf... he makes a a gud prog. dj if u ask me ne way... i still prefer kleinenberg on the prog. front tho

if ferry and tiesto have an albums worth of material(maybe) then would they be able to release it? im sure there would be some red tape to go through.

but i would like to see what ferry does with gouryella in the future. theres no dening that both ferrys use of synths and his bassier breakdowns coupled with tiestos over all melodic sound achived what most trance fans consider at least one, if not all three, anthems. if ferry decides to choose a new partner or he goes it alone i think gouryella will still put out some mind blowing tracks. heres to hoping he chooses matt darey!!!!

Check out the interview of Ferry. He specifically says a new Gouryella track with Tiesto is coming out in a couple months.

Now I'm confused.

Bah tiesto is just desperately trying to jump on the bandwagon. Digweed - progressive, Sasha - Progressive, Sander K - Progressive. Tiesto is not progressive. If anything he is spinning English house music; but its not quality progressive. People should stick to what they know, and tiesto has shown he really cant spin progressive. He was a good trance dj and a decent trance producer. His new album was nothing more than mediocre hoopla and I think we all know if it hadn't his name on the cover, it would have gone completely unnoticed. I still maintain that even though I find ferry's productions overly cheesy... at least he is sticking to his strengths and staying true to the music he loves. Props to him
