Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province (where all the Cantonese people are from), is one of China's main industrial centers, covering an area of 7,434 square kilometers, and with a population of over 6 million. It is China's largest and most prosperous city in the south, an important seaport for foreign trade and a famous historical and cultural city over 2,000 years old. It has convenient land, water and air transport. International air routes link it to Bangkok, Manila, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne. Daily flights, trains, ships and hovercraft go beween the city and Hong Kong. Guangzhou is located within the Tropic of Cancer and has no real winter. It grows three crops of rice a year and plenty of fruits. Flowers are in bloossm all the year round, so Guangzhou is called "the City of Flowers."

Wow, sounds great Scott... Almost reads like a well written travel guide. BOOK YOUR TICKETS TODAY!!! Oh wait, there is the whole thing about living under chinese rule that I do not know if I can live with. Being an industrial city near Hong Kong is it pretty liberal compared to the rest of the country or not?

What are you talking about?!? You were not born you just kind of fell from Heaven one day. Emerged out of an oyster from the sea. Something mythical like that, right?!?
