Ok, so maybe "spiritual" was not the right word to use.
How about "inspirational"? How about songs that makes you feel like heaven? |
Yeah I know exactly what your talking about. I had posted something a while back about my hope for a trance scene that embraced the
spirituality behind the music just as the goa scene does (but without hippies). Here is a list of some trance tunes I find spiritual.
BT - Embracing The Future (Embracing The Sunshine Mix) & Flaming June
Paul Van Dyk - Forbidden Fruit & For An Angel (E-Work Club Mix)
Robert Miles - Children (Dream Version) (I know, I know overdone...but it definitely is spiritual, even to this day)
Hydra - Affinity (Thrillseekers Dub)
Kalafut & Fygle - 3579 KM & Lullaby
Mark Otten - Mushroom Therapy (Lightscape Mix) & Tranquility
Airwave - Ladyblue (1992 Flight Mix)
Solar Stone - Seven Cities (Atlantis Mix) & (Armin van Buuren Remix)
Envio - Time To Say Goodbye
Mark Thorton - Now You See (Original Mix) & (Ross Assenheim Remix)
Little Wonder - Eclipse (Leama & Moor Remix) & (Fictivison vs. C-Quence Remix)
Tek^Tonik - Shine (Tek^Tonik Mix) & (DBA Remix)
Matthew Adams - Sunscape (Alucard's Eagle In The Rain Remix)
Radiate - Crystal Clear (Sonar Method's Lakeside Mix)
Micro De Govia - Dayturn, Voller Sterne (Album Mix) & (Super 8 Remix) & Aura Indigo
Alibi - Eternity (Thrillseeker's New Horizon Mix)
Tastexperience - Summersault
Chicane - Halcyon & Saltwater (Thrillseekers Remix)
Hydroid - Blue Tubes & Incurved
Insigma - Open Your Eyes (Club Mix)
Rapid Eye - Circa-Forever (R.E. Mix) & Santa Cruz (R.E. Mix)
Rio Addicts - Crossroads (Original Mix) & (Probspot Remix)
and the list goes on and on and on....just really any trance songs with a powerful melody, breakdown and just emotion really. Doesn't neccessarily have to have a spiritual message, just has a heavenly feeling, and I don't understand why more people don't take this music this way on these boards or take it more serious, it's not just beautiful music for no reason. Sure you have to have fun too, but spirituality is about fun, it's about enjoying life, not just going to a church. Sure there's the hard stuff and the techy stuff, but when your down in the dumps, or just want an escape from the business of everyday life, this music is perfect. It's been guiding my life since I was thirteen. After all, it wouldn't be called "Trance" for no reason either.
