So is twilo located in the big apple or new york state? my geography sucks so can someone tell me where it is? thanx

twilo's located in the city of course. i dont doubt the awsome intensity that twilo has to offer, because ive been there. all im saying is that buzz comes just as close if not already there. you could say that im trying to seek more support since im one of the promoters. why then would the venue be rated no 1 club of the yr twice in a row or so by multiple mags? ive seen many twilo regulars come to buzz and have just as much fun. several times during the yr buzz also holds Gatecrasher parties among others such as Cream, MOS, Global Underground, Perfecto, Caffiene, many label release parties, etc.. twilo's residents and lineups can hardly be compared with but how many other places would you be able to see dave ralph and donald glaude once or twice a month. all of you ppl who can get to DC w/o traveling long hrs should really check out one of buzz's more decent parties and judge for yourself. the venue usually gets ridiculously packed. check out the website (though not as pretty as twilo's ) for listings.

Can anyone tell me what's the minimum age to get into clubs there? I'm only 20 right now, but I'd sure as hell like to come down after all of my exams are done to see PVD spin live for ME (I'm such a selfish and ignorant bastard).

Twilo is on 27th st, there are a lotta tracks named after Twilo. West on 27th (PHAT!), Midnight on 27th st, Twilo Thunder. Ppl come from all over to go to Twilo. If Buzz was so great ppl wouldn't drive 4 hours every month to see S&D. I know ppl that flew from Ohio to see PVD last wk.
Fridays are 18 to party, 21 to drink. Sat 21 to get in. In numerous interviews both Sasha & Digweed have said that they Love spinnin at Twilo & the phazon is the best in the world.

the same thing applies for buzz. there were partykids and clubkids coming from wisconsin, chicago, seattle(!!), even parts of europe, just to see Scott Henry spin (you shouldve seen how packed it was during his CD release party of "Buzz - The Sound of The Nations Capital" last yr). ..and of course you'd expect the obvious whenever PVD, Oakie, Carl Cox, Deep Dish (DC baby!), Taucher, Micro, Digweed & Sasha, Tong, Sandra Collins, Nick Warren, DJ Dan, Bad Boy Bill and the likes of too many, happen to show up behind the booth. eventhough you probably don't follow dnb/jungle dont forget other great DJs like Adam Freeland, Dom + Roland, Aphrodite, Aquasky, Technical Itch & Decoder, Stakka & Skynet, Grooverider, ..... my point is not to put buzz in competition w/ twilo. instead im just pointing out what DC has to offer.

u guys talk alot ..bout bla bla ..but none of u have been to any other club than ur own local clubs....twilogoddess u only go to twilo..so what do u know bout GC in uk?....by far twilo is the best club in the states..and no doubt bout it ..the phazon sound system is hot..but i hear that every weekend @ home in london..and they have it guvernment in toronto...plus...2 other clubs in NY r gettin the phazon system..so till next year....it wont b such a big deal.....anways.....the best club with the best system in the whole world has to b CODE .....where gods kitchen has set up shop...the republic(house of gatecrasher) used to b the best till code opened its doors this past summer.....u cant even begin to compare any clubs in the states...even twilo to anything in the uk..untill u experience what brit club culture is all bout.....twilo is a good damn club...amazin sets by amazin djs..i mean sasha only plays there..what does that say?...amazin club....but doenst really meet up to par with clubs in europe..

i know that pvd spins alot at mekweg in amsterdamm..and whenever he is in uk..does the whole GC scene 6 hour sets..and sets at home

i used to into pvd alot..but then he started to play cheese like sandstorm in his sets..so i didnt keep up wid him..now im into the whole pvd phase again.....but im still a bigger fan of sasha..i go see him everywhere i can,..mostly in NY ....and im gonna see him at homelands in the next commin months..woho..cant wait..
