I'de say Adagio For Strings. "Serenity" is pretty boring and doesn't feel polished. "Adagio For Strings" has some pretty good remixes, like from Phynn (the best remix in my opinion), Danjo & Styles as well as Fred Baker. As others have noted, Serenity seems like a rip off of Adagio For Strings, and not a very good one at that. The original Tiesto Remake was decent too, with a hard bassline that is signature for some of Tiesto's techier side (Traffic, Lethal Industry, Flight 643, Obsession etc). I personally think Tiesto's better at making "tech-trance" than Armin is, Armin's better at the uplifting stuff, but even that is kind of sucking right now....

I agree, well.. serenity got a good main melody on piano, but lacks of other elements filling the song imo... could be remixed by Thrillseekers imo, turning it more catchy...

Serenity would be a lot better with a bassline. And I can't stand the original Tiesto - Adagio for Strings, but the Phynn remix is nice.

Barber's Adagio For Strings (Tiesto Remix)

i hate that homo gets all the credit for only a remix

(go ahead flame me, i can take it, but every time i read Tiesto - adagio for strings, the truth shall be spoken.)

Talking about Armin Van Buuren Ft. J. Vayne I'd say 'Hymne'

top 3 would be like: Hymne, Adagio, Serenity

Isn't Serenity like a remake/re-edit of the Souvenir de Chine theme?
Anyway i think Adagio for Strings get my vote, but neither of these tunes is anything special in my book.

Especially, as mentioned before, the fact that Tiësto doesn't give any credit to Samuel Barber is annoying.

The reason why Tiësto gets most of the credit for the remix is due to severe lethargy on anyone to really say...

Samuel Barber - Adagio For Strings (William Orbit remix) (Tiësto's remix of the William Orbit remix as preceded in the original paranthetical citation, also seen as a later remix of Ferry's remix or William Orbit's remix of Samuel Barber's original version... as seen on Just Be).

See! A mouthful of confusion.
