She's just waxing poeting, freeflowing some pretty words together to give the song vocal instrumentation. Sarah's good at stuff like that. She probably came up with the hook while sitting on the can.
Ha, figures.
It's reasons like this that I shouldn't bother much with the idea of artist intent.

I usually don't bother interpreting vocals, but if I were to think this song meant anything, it would simply be a desire for some personal space.
