I think it is also that a lot of those we see who are really up-to-date on the latest tracks are DJs or want to be (not "wannabe") DJs. They are putting in the time and effort for something they really love.

Sometimes I wish I knew as much as them but I have other things that I dedicate myself to. A lot of edm still sounds the same to me even though I love it. It's just a matter of balance. I try to stay on top with minimum effort.
