it is a very expensive hobbie/love. the best thing to do is buy some second hand techs. then if you need the money you can sell em in an instant and not lose a penny. then when you have the money you can buy another pair.
remember that generally, everyone on ta probably has a set of tt's because music is mostly what they spend thier hard earned cash on. me included. music is my life. ta regulars are trance addicts. we need to mix/listen to/produce trance like a smack head needs heroin.
if you want tt's that much then they are nt that expensive...

Don't tell the loan officer, but I used part of a student loan to finance my setup.

I did the same thing.

LMFAO me too. It's legit though, I mean you have to factor living expenses into your loans and I'll be damned if I was going to live any longer without decks so it *technically* was a living expense.

you know, it's easier for me to buy a car than it is to buy 2 tts and a mixer, Everytime I have the money it goes for something else, I just decided to say to hell with it and buy a tt and a mixer... not the best mixer on the market though, but oh well. Hopefully I will buy my second tt in dec.
Seems to me very few of you have trouble saving for decks. Why? How?
It's not like I don't have money, I have a very good job etc. THe money is just always needed for other crap. Cars break, PCs pack up, etc.
I just realised if I had a GF i would never even have been able to afford the one tt... them bitches are expensive.
