No, get the V6s. I'm another who has them and loves them. Why would you consider getting generic crap instead of them? You will not go wrong with the Sony's.

(Plus, you can find reviews that rave about Behringer stuff )

If you mean movement from side to side, no the v6/7506 don't swivel in that way. As for your second question, the normal 1/8" jack needed for standard music listening is hidden under the 1/4" larger jack. The larger jack you see in all the pictures is actually a separate adapter which is able to be unscrewed from the cabling to allow for equipment that uses the smaller connection and the 1/8" jack is right there once you remove the adapter.

Sideways Swivel isn't that much of a necessity is it?

Hmm.. you all are pretty set on the v6, it looks pretty oldschool but i'll take your word for it and give 'em a shot.... now to find cheap cdj 800s, they're much more expensive than i thought...

+1 i don't see what the big deal is.

if budget is an issue i'd suggest denon dn-s1000's for scratching, or cdj-200's for precision/bang for buck.

if not, cdj-800s or dn-s3000's

...i hear the v6's are pretty much the same as the 7506's...

not pretty much the same, they ARE the same.

Unless you want to nitpick and count a gold plated plug as a difference (which c'mon, its the most pissweak difference), and red instead of blue stickers.........

btw, personally (and I don't know how this fits with your budget, and I don't know a lot about CD players), but I'd get a Vestax PCV-275 mixer (have one, good mixer) and the Pio 800s.

No, not that I've ever seen, but as long as you take off the adapter, it really doesn't matter anyway cause you can still use them with your computer.
