I guess I'm the only one who didn't like this remix then?
I must be growing old and weird

Should've read my review ...

Wait, so this is probably the remix that Ferry played at LPSF. After all of the hype surrounding it, I'll say that I am thoroughly disappointed in it. It has no vocals, which are the key point to the track, and the break lasted for about two minutes and sounded like a pointless loop.

I mean, I love the original, and I loved this mix for about twenty seconds when the break came in, but that's it. It's anticlimatic and goes nowhere after the break.

3/10

The track blends my favorite genre with one of my fav. bands ever but i do agree on the post-breakdown...it goes nowhere and kinda frustrating after you're waiting for 2+ mins. for some big payoff. I guess one could call the breakdown the payoff.

I have to agree with some of the guys, this track has so much going for it... I mean U2, Nu-NRG, Where the Streets have No Name... but I was a little dissapointed with the mix. Its good but not gonna last like the original

Oh, yes, I must have missed that review part
I didn't also like all the noise that comes to replace the really nice guitar(it is a guitar, right?) part of the original.
Apart from that, It's one of the great tracks of the "past"(It's not like it was released in the 1920s or yesterday to be called a recent one:P)remixed for nowadays need of "fresh tunes" due to lack of creativity.
Same thing that happened with Nightmates by Viton and Stel which I pretty much disliked. You don't have to add some silly beat to every track you hear so you can say you pay tribute to a track you like.
You like it? Don't Mess with it.

And it's not I don't like some of the remixes done by NuNrg, but good and bad efforts have to be distinguished, and this is a bad one.

oh and I can only imagine having any vocals, would only make it worse.

Now let's have it on Prog and all agree it's of excellent quality..

that only thing that makes it worthwhile for me, is to hear the samples and melodies of the original track, ... one of the better u2 tracks ever made ...

i think it´s just another cheap remake of a good tune. there are a lot of examples where they did a good job but imo this one just doesn´t do the trick for me!

You Are Right, The original track is so Euphoric, and it's one of the most beautiful songs human beings have created.

Now if You dare to remix this beauty, please do somethign amazing, The Idea of Nu-Nrg was nice, it started well, and I was liking but after the break, it was so DISSAPOINTING!, and builds builds builds up, and suddenly lift me down.

I see this similar to sex, when you are just reaching the climax, then suddenly it brings you totally down.

I was actually angry when i listen this,

It's liek havign sex with a gilr and just before you reach the orgasm, she said stop, and then leave the room.

I felt horrible.

Note: I'm not against Nu-Nrg at all, I like alot of their productions, but they just fucked up this time.
