yeah, I'm not too concerned about my gpa cuz i know there's nothing i can do about it now. Just focusing on GMATs.

I just don't want to spend all this time and get in to a bad school.

I would have taken a course, but working full time precludes me from spending the time at night in class. I've been studying on my own out of books and stuff.

So other than the IVY leagues, what other schools do I have a reasonable chance of getting in to?

i think if you show that you're MBA caliber, such as taken management / business classes in undergrad and down well, shown that you've managed people well as a business leader after school and do well on the GMATs you should be fine.

MBA salaries really won't be that different from one school or another excluding like the top ten schools in the country. they're like 45k a year anyway.

Thats not bad. So all you have to do now is do well on the GMAT. Or make connections with people that can help you. If I were you I would take this GMAT more seriously. Once you get your score, look at US News and World report. They have a grid which tells you the GPA's and GMAT scores of admitted students of the schools. You can then calculate your chance of getting in. If you do bad on the GMAT, have sex with the daughter of the Dean of the school you want to go to. Or bribe someone.

A KINDER AND GENTLER GMONEY

I am taking the GMATs very seriously. I study everyday, reading books and doing practice exams. I'm just trying to give myself options in case I don't score in the 700s. I'm expecting to score in at least the 600s.

So, of course I'm going to try the Ivy Leagues, just seeing if anyone had any experience elsewhere.

I'm not really looking for a huge salary increase after school (although, that would be nice). I'm maining looking for more education and move away from being in the trenches of doing the technology and more managing and making decisions.

So far, got some good advice.

My test is next Friday, so I don't have that much more time to prepare.
